The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has on Saturday, 9th July, 2022, swear-in five Commissioners-Designate. The new commissioner-designates were questioned and cleared yesterday by River state House of assembly members.
The swear-in took place at the Executive Council Chamber of Government House, Port Harcourt by 12pm. This was after the Rivers State House of Assembly, yesterday, screened and confirmed all Commissioner-Designate
The Commissioner-Designate are, Hon.Deinma Iyalla, Professor. Prince Mmom, Hon. Christopher Green, Hon. Boma Iyaye, and Surv. Burabe Anea-Bari Donald. They have been assigned their portfolios after the swearing ceremony.
The portfolios of the new Commissioners in Rivers state are:
Prof. Chinedu Mmom – Education
Chief Boma Iyaye – Local Government
Barr. Chris Green – Sports
Deinma Iyalla – Special Projects
Surv. Burabe Anea-Bari Donald – Community & Chieftaincy
