A great organization is known for its ability to take feedback with giant stride and make good and positive changes.
In a previous story by NGNEWS, we did report how a branch of Polaris Bank had harassed , assaulted and excluded a man with disabilities its fundamental financial inclusion right in the past three years. A week after the publication, Official of the University of Ibadan branch of the bank politely invited Mr. Bamikiiya Feyintolu and resolved all the issues. The only issue the bank could not resolve was the need to build ramp that can create access for other persons with disabilities and according to the bank Official, the building belongs to University of Ibadan and to make changes to the structure an approval must be gotten.
In his words to NGNEWs Bamikiya Feyintolu said
“I was there today to withdraw at UI branch. The manager attended to me well, she was just begging, she asked me what to do and I said they should give me the letter so that I can change my salary account easily but she said I should let them try to resolve it first and if it doesn’t work then, I can request for the letter, They try to download their vulte app. but my phone couldn’t do it, But they could get me USSD CODE to be able to transfer, then they gave me another ATM card and ensure it is working, Then they created a space for me any time I come to collect cash it won’t be open place again”.
For this we commend Management of Polaris bank for having a listening hear with the right attitude to satisfy their customers.
