One of the aides to the Deputy Senate President Senator Omo-Agege,, Cyril Mudiagbe, had been shot dead in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area in Delta state. Cyril Mudiagbe is said to be a member of All progressive congress in Ward 6 in Sapele.
Cyril Mudiagbe popularly known as Cyril Makanaki, in town was shot dead in the early hours of Sunday, July 24, 2022 in his own house that is within Decima area of the town. One of his neighbours known as Eniagbe, according to reports, allegedly said the gunmen did not break into his house but shot the deceased through the window.
Apparently the gunmen were not able to break through his door, so they kept banging his window until he opened the window probably thinking it was a close relative who wanted to get his attention. It was at this point of opening his window that the gunmen shot bullets into his body and he died.
From what Nigeria Grassrots \News gathered. security operatives, including vigilantes, have commenced a manhunt for the assailants. Bright Edafe , Delta state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) said he was yet to get details of the event
