The United States Mission in Nigeria on July 29th, 2025 on its X, a social media platform has celebrated Super Falcon on the team’s success at the recently concluded WAFCON 2024 where Nigeria Super Falcon won the trophy for its 10th times consecutively.
US Mission in Nigeria Congratulates Super Falcon
In its message, the United State mission in Nigeria wrote “Congratulations Super Falcons! You have once again shown the world why you are queens of African football! This isn’t just a win – it’s a statement. 10 titles, countless memories, endless pride — we salute you, Champions of Africa!”
To further affirm this, the Mission hashtag the post in a popular Nigeria niche “#NaijaNoDeyCarryLast’ to reaffirm its support for the team.
But on the same date, The US Mission on issue of transparency could not but challenge Nigerian Politicians and leaders to lead by example while quoting sources that strengthens its position, the mission wrote on its X “While Nigerians are urged to endure economic hardship “like labor pains,” some governors are splurging billions on new government houses”
United States Mission in Nigeria demands equality and open society based on trust
After quoting different sources, the United State Mission concluded in the same tweet “Such alleged lack of fiscal responsibility fuels inequality and erodes public trust.”
