Angry female protesters have shut down the main gate of the institution following the insecurities which have been trailing the school premises.

Recall that on Saturday 19 November 2022, some hooligans invaded the female hostels, and carted away students’ phones, laptops, cooking utensils, and other valuables.

This unwholesome act which happened in the heart of the institution however caused angry female students in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, to shut the main entrance of the institution thereby restricting to and fro movements of any sort.

Some in their nighties chant solidarity songs with pots, plates, spoons, fry pans, and leaves among others, calling for tight security within the varsity.

Meanwhile, this action has thwarted the efforts of most students from receiving lectures ahead of their forthcoming examination as some departments have been locked.

As at the time of filing this report, no one from the school management has come to address the aggrieved students who have resulted in throwing stones causing fellow students and lecturers to scuttle for safety.
