The Faculty of Business and Communication Studies (FBCS), of Polytechnic, Ibadan has announced that the 5th edition of her annual international conference would commence on Monday, 8th of August, 2022.
The faculty made this known through a press release made available to newsmen by the Chairman, Publicity Committee of the program, Alh. Najimdeen Adunola.
He disclosed that the 3 – Day program will run between the 8th to 12th of August 2022 with participants ranging from academia, and industry practitioners from across the four corners of the world.

Adunola, who doubles as the Head, of the Department of Mass Communication, stressed that the theme of the conference is ‘Digitalization and E-learning: Engaging the Impact of Emerging Technologies on Africa’s Development”
“Prof Emmanuel Adu of the University of Fort Hare, Alice, Eastern Cape, South Africa will deliver a keynote address at the opening ceremony while Prof Olumide Longe of Academic City University College, Accra, Ghana, will present the lead paper.
“Like the fourth edition, the conference is a further attempt to explore the potential of emerging technologies in the quest for Africa’s development.
“The institution Rector, Prof Kazeem Adebiyi alongside the Dean, Faculty of Business and Communication Studies, Dr. Oladunni Akinola, will host participants from across the globe.
“The conference starts at 10 am daily.” – the release reads.
