The Labour Party Presidential aspirant, Peter Obi has congratulated the newly nominated National Women Leader of the party, Mrs Dudu Manuga.
The aspirant expressed this on his Twitter handle on Wednesday at exactly 6:27pm following the nomination of the leader.
It should be recalled that the woman was ealier nominated yesterday as the National women leader of the party, being found capable to hold the post.
While expressing his congratulatory message, Peter Obi in his Twitter handle said ” Congratulations to Mrs Dudu Manuga from Gombe State on her Nomination as the National leader of our great party”.
While taking to the comment session to express their opinions about the nomination, some supporters have shared their views and commended the aspirant for the nomination.
A tweeter user with the account, IGWE SMEG reacted that the nomination will allow the party to get millions votes from the state.
Also, another supporter with the username CJ- Morgany reiterated that Peter Obi hold women significant in his presidency.
He said “This is what I’ve been telling people: Peter Obi’s presidency is one in which women’s participation in politics would be top-notch and a never-before-seen in Nigeria.
Who noticed that since his declaration, our women have been excelling internationally. It’s not a coincidence”
Emeke Ossai in his comment also said, he’s happy for the movement, his words “Wow, I’m glad the Labour Party is taking shape, and leaders are being strategically placed to ensure maximum mobilization”
Mrs Dudu Manuga is from Gombe State and Labour Party member. She is the executive director of Citizenship and Human Development Initiative and she’s a political business woman.
She studied and obtained her degree in French and Linguistics from university of Jos.
