‘Seye Fakinlede, Ondo State
A Facebook user who is simply known as Arakunrin Ajos has called out the Ondo State Governor concerning the worrisome state of the health sector.
In a post making the rounds on social media, Ajos called out well-concerned citizens of the state to save the health sector.
” If you truly love Ondo State, it is time to join hands to save our Health Sector. Akeredolu has finished this state! ” He said.
Reacting to this one, Olugbenga Oke Samuel revealed that a relative’s friend lost her life recently because there was no oxygen.
“My sister’s friend lost her life this week because there was no oxygen.”
Also, Wale Leyimu lamented that he hopes the people of the state have learnt some lessons as regards the selling of their votes.
I reckon that he may yet be the ‘best’ governor of the state to ever be in reverse. By this, I mean that perhaps the majority of the people in the state would have learned their lessons better, but in a more devastating way, and would never ‘elect’ or allow an ‘electable’ heartless inept to govern them again.
Commenting on the state of health and facilities, a doctor at the University Teaching Hospital in Akure, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said medical practitioners are also concerned but handicapped by the pity state, which is impeding proper health care delivery to the masses. He added that the health quagmire and the nonchalance are a result of the government’s neglect of the sector’s plight yet admonishing the governor should act on its urgency.
