Truth has been revealed concerning a rumoured information bordering around the death of the Onjo of Okeho, A town in Oyo State.
The Onjo of Okeho, Oba AbdulRafiu Mustapha Osuolale Adeitain II, has however reacted to the rumour of his death debunking the earlier viral news.
It could be recalled that a news report has been made viral and published by some online media that the monarch has joined his ancestral fathers.
The traditional ruler who cleared the air in a live video chat, admitted he was sick for some time but has long recovered after spending few days at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
Onjo said he is now at home and recuperating better. “Truly, I was sick, and was taken to the University college hospital, Ibadan on the 18th Of July, till the Sunday 24th of July the day that the Aseyin died.
“I didn’t even know that he was also there at the hospital. It was later that I got to know that he died, which I was told on the second day.
“Hence, since I got home I have been treated well by by Doctors and I’ve been responding to treatment.
“I’m hale and hearty, I’m alive and I will live long.” He added.
