While applauding the youth Corps, The DG advised the corps members “Do remember that while serving your father’s land the orientation camp is a semi-regimented environment which thrives on rules that must be obeyed”.  Even after leaving the camp, the DG also warned “Please do avoid joining cult groups, shun the abuse of drugs, and always sensible with the use of social media”.

The NYSC D.G went on to admonish that the corps members that they should ensure tthey make the best use of the NYSC Skill Acquisition and Development (SAED) program as there are no longer jobs readily available in the country. He also mentioned that since a bulk of the ad-hoc staff for the forthcoming 2023 general election will be from the scheme, corps members should ensure that their participation in the electioneering process should be in line with what is stipulated in the Nigerian constitution. He
